Why are Mazda Miata V8 conversions seemingly always done with Ford motors and not Chevy motors?
Why not use an aluminium small-block Chevy engine for the sake of parts availability and lower cost?
Ford also owns Jaguar, but most of the Jags I've seen with V-8 transplants have small-block Chevrolet motors. Same with Jeeps. Lots of people cram Chevrolet V-8 motors in Jeeps. So what it comes down to is what fits best. The Sunbeam Tiger and the A.C.
